Smoky and the Bandit had nothing on Deidre and Neil. Less than a month after leaving the West Coast for eastern Canada, the intrepid duo is hammer down on their return trip. Dee posted the day before they started off...

Well the official trip begins ( July 5 ) tomorrow, Heading to Fort MC Cloud AB and then cross in to the states from there. Will post updates when I can...

Her July 5^th update:

After looking at the map and not sure of the highway 2 I in the states have decided to stay with Hwy 1 for now. Fuel is running at 1.25...

Five days later they were…

Hello folks ,No wi fi and we are in Duluth Minnesota. All is good and we heading to Thunder Bay Ont in the am. Wi fi maybe in and out, I'm sitting near the office on someone else table…This time-change sucks. Will check in a little later if able

A few days later Dee provided a travel plan update:

Here the plan for the next few days #1 stop is Wawa Ont,#2 Spragge Ont,#3 Mattawa Ont,#4 East of Ottawa.. Off and running in the early AM

The 16^th of July…

Well we bypassed Mattawa and are now east of Ottawa, heading for east of Quebec City

The next day, Dee's sister posted:

Dee just phoned to say that they had made New Brunswick!!!!! She by-passed Montreal, Quebec and straight on to NB.....all is well with the exception of the mosquito welts that her and Neil have on various parts of their bodies
